45
Km east of Paris, between Meaux and Coulommiers,
15 Km to Euro Dysney Land,
70 Km to Provins and only 6 Km to Crécy la Chapelle.
This town is known as the Venice of the Brie (La Venise de la
Brie),
and
has retained its own character, based on a
distinctively structured street plan
inherited from Middle
Ages.
The main streets follow the curves of the “Bassets” or
defensive ditches
fortified by walls and towers, of witch
vestiges remain.
There
are delightful walks along the “Bassets” starting from
the Meaux Gate or
following the river Grand Morin valley.
We are located in a quaint little village, facing the church.
Within the
surrounding walls of our farmhouse, you will
discover a fortified tower
converted into a dove house in 1730
with
its 3426 nests and its winding ladder.
Isabelle and Nicolas will be happy to welcome you in their
two bedrooms built in
an old attic entirely renovated.
You will be able to park safely your car.
Sorry, pets are nor allowed.
